We introduced a new game this summer to our Sr. High camp! This game is taking youth ministries by storm across the country. Some call it Color Wars. Others call it Color Battles. We call it Color Skirmish. It’s a load of fun and our campers really enjoyed themselves. All you need is powdered paint of various colors and small plastic cups. If people can wear white t-shirts, that helps the colors show better than on dark shirts.
Here’s how it’s played: divide your group into teams. We had four teams which consisted of three family group teams and one support staff team. Each team is a unique color. Everyone has a cup full of powdered paint that is their team color. When it’s time to start playing, everyone runs around throwing their colors on anyone and everyone they see, trying to get their color on as many people as possible.
Our Sr. High campers absolutely loved this activity. Check out these awesome photos taken by our summer photographer Jack Goras. He was right in the action with us! Follow us on Facebook to enjoy pictures from every day.
