MORE PICTURES WILL BE ADDED AS WE MAKE PROGRESS
Have you ever wondered what goes on at camp during the winter? Besides hosting and serving a number of retreat groups, we also work hard on making facility updates at camp. So far we’ve replaced Kramer Dining Center porch steps with plastic lumber, fixed path lights to Pathfinder dorm, split freshly cut logs in preparation for summer camp, sanded and stained wooden circle tables in KDC, screened in the porch of cabin 2, installed a night light at the barn, fixed a leak in the pool, repaired playground playhouse, put tile in Dan West room, installed new branded directional/building signs throughout camp, painted (touched up) inside of KDC, painted outside of KDC, built a queen size bed for Dan West room, built shelves for new summer camp shed, scrubbed and pressure washed KDC kitchen floor, replaced 15 basement lights, painted field-side exterior wall of chapel, replaced old chapel AC unit, stained picnic tables and benches along with the gaga ball pit, painted and made renovations in the Yellow Cottage, and so much more. This is just an idea of what all goes on during the winter at camp. The list goes on. We are grateful for the gifts, hands and talents of our volunteers who have helped us accomplish projects like these for decades.
We hope you enjoyed reading about these updates at camp. We will continue to work hard enhancing this beautiful space that is so special to you. Check out the photos below to see our progress!
